I hope you all had a lovely, if quiet, New Year. 2021 has started with a lot of uncertainty as the UK has entered into another lockdown, causing a lot of changes in both people's personal lives and for businesses.
We feel very grateful that we have been able to continue to work as usual and our website remains open 24/7. However, we are limiting the number of times we dispatch a week to ensure we limit the number of times we travel into the town centre. We hope this will not delay your deliveries, however if you do need your parcel delivered in a hurry just let us know and we will aim to dispatch within 24 hours.
Having only launched Spruce Homeware in October, we are still developing the business and 2021 is sure to see many exciting changes for us. Our main aim for 2021 is to start offering more products from small businesses. Now, more than ever, it is essential that we support small businesses as the country and economy try to deal with the challenges of Covid-19.
Our first small business product is Seychelles Wax Melts which are handcrafted by Stone & Co Candles in the UK. Jacob began his candle and wax melt business during the first lockdown and has worked hard to create a lovely range of scents.
I was very pleased to be awarded a prize from the Scottish Institute for Enterprise this month and am looking forward to reinvesting this back into small businesses. As always, we want to make sure that we have a beautiful range of homeware collections. Our Spring range launching in the coming months will include collaborations with more lovely small businesses.
From the 11th of January until February, we will be launching our lockdown stories on Instagram, sharing small businesses, home inspiration and tasty recipes. We hope this will give you all something to look forward to during these difficult times.
With lots planned for 2021 we will be sharing updates on the blog regularly. Be sure to keep an eye out for all our news.
Wishing you all the best for 2021!
